Job Description:
The appropriate candidate will teach courses in the areas of Deviance and Criminology, particularly with an emphasis on the functioning of the Criminal Justice System and its relationship with the creation and perpetuation of social inequality related to race and ethnicity.

Requirements:
Qualifications Required: PhD in Sociology, Criminal Justice, or related discipline. ABD will be considered.  
 
Preferred Qualifications: Preference may be given to candidates who are conversant in issues related to American Race relations, as well as add to the intellectual and cultural diversity of the department and college.
